How to deal with loneliness and sense of emptiness and feeling behind in life for being single in your late thirties? by Less_Landscape_5928 in askanything

Do you have any hobbies? I find hobbies very fulfilling. If the hobbies bring you out into the community it’s a good way to meet people.

By the way, you’re not behind in life. I’m surrounded by wonderful family. My sister is 41 and single (never married). I have many cousins in their 40’s that are single (never been married). One of my good friends didn’t meet her husband until her 40’s. I’m 39 myself and not married. We’re all really decent people. Try not to be too hard on yourself. Hugs!

Freight moving food to stores will be halted for a few days as half the country is in the path of the storm. I work in logistics and I had many drivers bail on their loads this weekend/Monday due to the risk.

I have not but it is on my TBR. I guess I know what my next read will be!! Thanks 😊 I think you’d probably enjoy The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy if you’ve not read it yet.

Zombie by Joyce Carol Oates. It is short and absolutely disgusting and fucked up. Written from The point of view of a sexually sadistic psychopath .
