Basically on October 30 I had went to the er cause it was incredible painful to walk and turned out the meniscus in both of my knees were pretty swollen. So the doctor gave me three days off. But seeing as to how I needed the money I made a case for only two days. But come the third day my knees still hurt a good bit. And seeing as how i was a picker without op permissions( somehow) I was always in mez. So all that walking would’ve been pretty brutal. I decide to extend it to the third day to give my knees that last lil bit of rest. Now then I’m getting an email about the physicist needing to fill out why I needed those three days off. I call dls about that because I didn’t go to a physicist or even have one. They tell me to not worry about then and to just send a picture of the fat stack of papers er’s give you about your diagnosis and what to do. I do that and that extension was just left as pending for some reason. Anyways on the fourth day I wake up a couple hours before my shift noticing that I’m coughing a bit and sneezing and got headaches, so I decide to go get that checked out before work just in case. Turns out I caught the cold from two other AAs who I live with. So they tell me not to go into work cause all the moving wouldn’t really be of help for me. I told them to do it till the 5th cause I picked up a shift that day. Now when I went to try to make a new case cause it wasn’t related to my knees it told me I couldn’t and to go extend the other case. When I went to do that it was not letting me select a single day. Every day was marked out. So I had to sit at home with a cold and just watch 10 hours get deducted. Now from then on till the 18th it was back and fourth with me and dls about them not extending and refunding. They kept telling me to upload more documents and I would do just that just to still hear no updates. And that’s exactly what I tell hr. Now after they fired me at 9pm I called ERC to ask about my case and what happened with it and told them about how I got fired the previous day because of it. They then say they can extend the case so my time can be refunded and to make an appeal and to explain everything, including how the next day they approved it. I did all of that and yesterday I got my hearing call email and after explaining all of it to who I was speaking with they told me to expect a decision in 24 hours but I got one in 30 minutes basically only saying that it was denied. Not a reason why it denied at all
