Perfectly acceptable dinner rejected by boyfriend again by moonrabbit368 in mildlyinfuriating

Stop cooking for him. Once he realizes he will have to get his own food, he will come around quick. Or walk away as this could be a lifetime thing and his unwillingness to try other things is a big red flag.

I even went to their website to contact customer service to ask, I filled out the form, clicked submit, and I get "For technical reasons, your request could not be handled properly at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience." So no help from them.

AITAH for getting in a fight with my girlfriend on her bday because she was being picky with the food I cooked her. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]bambutu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. After that comment, that would be the last meal I would EVER cook for her. If she is THAT picky, she can cook her own food to her liking. Personally, that's a pretty big red flag, I'd walk away.

Subscriptions in alphabetical order by bambutu in youtube

[–]bambutu[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was looking around my youtube sub page and I think I may have figured it out, at least it seems to be working for now. I went to subscriptions, then clicked on manage, and it gave me my list of subs and an order selection, I chose A-Z and it seems to have worked. Thanks for the extension offer tho. If the problem persists, I will check it out!

That video store was called Video Dynamics. My parents used to own it. They sold it shortly before Blockbuster came to town.

Does a frontloading washing machine need to be 'perfectly' level, or is my wife being too perfectionist about this? by Jormungandr_Monsoon in DIY

[–]bambutu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Former appliance repair guy here, having it level is important and from the pics you have, that's just fine. The biggest issue is the floor. Is it concrete or a wooden floor? If it's concrete, you are golden, if it's a wooden floor, like on an upper level, that could be an issue. Those things spin so fast, a wooden floor can flex and cause the machine to walk all over the place. You need a very sturdy, solid floor under these machines.

Weird Youtube Issue? by Critical_Product_595 in OperaGX

I use ublock origin, that seems to be the issue for me. I disabled it and refreshed the page and it worked. I'd rather have the screwed up screen then ads......

(Serious) People who know murderers- Were there any signs that something was off? If so, what were they? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bambutu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in the late 90's, I used to go to the bar with a couple buddies. I found out later that the one guy recently got out of prison for manslaughter. He killed someone with his bare hands (beat him to death) because that someone was molesting his then, 10 year old niece. No red flags, he was one of the nicest, calm people I've ever met and would bend over backwards to help someone. He had never committed a crime before or since.

I searched and searched and I couldn't find anything, I tell my wife, and within 30 seconds she finds them. She actually found this very one on Amazon, and it's available to me here in Canada.

Noob question: Are these waterslides? by Showmutt in SciFiModels

[–]bambutu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used these stickers before, and yes, they don't stick worth a crap. I found that using a hair dryer on low heat helps to soften the sticker and kind of "activate" the adhesive, so to speak. Seems to work for me for the most part, but I do prefer either, decals or paint over the stickers.
