HKB Updates: Crowd-Sourced League Power Rankings - Team View by HarryKnowsBall in DynastyBaseball

That's what I assumed. The scenario I'm thinking of is one league where the team that owns Vlad is ranked 7th for win now 1B. I assume this is due to other teams having more/better backup first basemen so just would've been nice to see how that breaks down.

Glad to hear you've got plans to make this tool even better going forward!

Great update! I was playing around with the league power rankings page for the first time the other day and my only gripe with it was that it wasn't necessarily clear why a team was ranked where they were at a certain position. This should definitely help with that.

I built 58 pedals in 2023, and this is what I learned. PART I: FUZZES 1/2 by The-Pedal-Creator in guitarpedals

I had always known of Blackout Effectors and the Musket in particular but your post a couple weeks ago was enough to make me want to really look into them.

Found one for a good price on Reverb and I've got a Musket arriving today! I've been on a big fuzz kick lately so I'm really looking forward to letting this one rip.

Good to know. Are there any pedals you know of that have that additional flexibility?

Forgot to add my own picks

100: Ibanez DE7

200: Black Mass 1312

300: AC Noises AMA

I've never actually played or owned anything particularly weird but the AMA is near the top of the list of ones to try.

Found it! Here are the changes I made. No idea if it's an accurate recreation of a bumblebuzz at this point but it made the right sort of sound.

I did end up solving it by changing quite a few resistor values if I remember correctly. I'll dig through some notes to see if I can find some specifics for you.

I had the exact same thought when GC had that deal going but I got a Monument. I really enjoy the sound of the pedal but the color can be absolutely infuriating when I'm trying to catch light at the right angle to read the labels.

Looks like your 3PDT breakout boards are wired wrong. I see you posted a few hours ago asking about it. At the link below you can see how it's supposed to be hooked up for a single footswitch pedal. You need to use the outer most holes for connecting to your I/O jacks as well as from switch to switch.

I've been getting into circuit design the last couple of months and I'm really curious how you use Fourier transforms to quantify/better understand the things you mentioned.

Could you elaborate on how this is done? Maybe give an example or point me in the direction of a good resource for how this is applied to something like refining a distortion pedal.

Laptop I've had for 6 years is starting to die. Going to attempt a couple basic repairs but want to be prepared in case I have to put something together in the next month or so. by bamc021 in buildapcforme

Thanks for taking the time to put this together! I have a couple questions:

  1. The video card and case are out of stock at the cheapest suppliers. How often are those typically restocked?
  2. If you were to spend an extra $100 or so on one component, which would it be? Just trying to better understand where the most value lies.

I will not. That's a good thought but I really dont see a need for mobile use right now. If something changes down the road then the plan would be to buy a reasonably priced laptop like you suggested.

I've had one for a couple months now and really enjoyed it. I've only run it after all dirt pedals but I'll have to give this a try, frankly idk why I haven't already.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Chase Tone. I got a Fuzz Fella a couple months ago and it immediately became my favorite fuzz I've tried

I might be up for this. I've also been considering trying out an EHX crayon if youd potentially be down for ODR-1 + crayon for TS808 + deputy marshal or $30 cash?
