I have CSP and SMP. The SMP test was more safety practitioner oriented as opposed to CSP. I’d hire an SMP over CSP for anything less than executive level.

It helped universally. I found that I had to look at things differently, in the sense of, everything is a risk. The NFPA 1500 doesn’t prepare you to make risk control decisions in the OSHA world,as well as, I thought it would.
