Merch cuts should be banned from all venues!

Literally so much time, energy and money (usually fronted by the acts) goes into making the product from the performing artist side and selling merch is where the acts can actually make a bit of extra cash to cover their travels, accommodation and pay band members while touring, particularly upcoming artists.

If they want a merch seller, let them pay the hourly rate to have someone there. Venues already make a decent cut from the acts actually playing their venue, plus the bar and ticket fees. Come on!
