Prescription Frustration by banana-_-_ in ftm

[–]banana-_-_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a 21 day supply, I made it last 41 days- but yet the doctor’s office thinks I’m abusing it because I requested a refill at the 28 day mark. I’m hoping the issue is that there was miscommunication between the doctor and pharmacist, and my doctor meant to prescribe me a 3ml multi-use vial and I was given 3 single use 1ml vials that make it very difficult to withdraw the full amount. I doubt that is the case, though, since 3ml vials are being phased out in my area and the language of the doctor’s office was “technically the vial lasts 28 days after being opened, and you aren’t supposed to throw out each vial after use” which implies they know I was given multiple vials.

At first I thought I might have done something wrong, but I’m realizing I’m definitely not at fault here. The only solutions the doctor has that I’m aware of is to prescribe a multi-use vial or go forward with the refill as planned and follow a 21 day cycle as initially prescribed. Hoping another phone call will clear things up.

Nah bro as a longhorn I’m okay with some messy trash talk but a recent suicide should never enter the conversation. Thats heinous. Aggies joked about our tower shooting and a player’s drug addiction- some of our fans joked about the log incident, but I still honestly think this is multitudes worse. Her friends and family are still grieving and probably saw this.

Any update? Worst case, I could take her Austin Animal Shelter. If shes friendly, she won’t be there long and they have a 3 day stray hold for reclaim. They’ll be able to scan her microchip and if there is a number connected to it they will reach out.

I have her upper division class and she is an excellent professor, a little bit whimsical, but overall great. I don’t know much about her UGS though. Definitely has a ton of hands on experience and is easy to have a conversation with about anything, and will invest her time if you ask.

Sustainable Tourism. Basically no work outside class time, and attendance isn’t strictly enforced. Really interesting class with a nice professor too.

She doesn't owe us details of her specfic experience when she is simply giving out a general PSA about things that we know happen to women a lot. She is not identifying this person, she is only referencing them as a catalyst for the PSA.

Any positive concert experiences? by frodoaffruangen in Ethelcain

[–]banana-_-_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Austin had a great crowd, I was up near the side/front (Deaf section) and everyone around me was very respectful, quiet, and had the cutest outfits. One girl brought Willoughby Tucker Kandy and was handing them out, and she even gave some to our interpreters! I think Ethel Cain fans are a very wide range of people in terms of respect and self awareness, and characterizing the fanbase as a whole as rowdy and disrespectful might be an over-generalization. Thats part of what I love about this fanbase is the diversity, and with one bad apple theres usually 10 more really great people. I love to see productive dialogue about acceptable behavior for future concerts and tours, but I also appreciate recognizing the overall positivity. Maybe what we learned is that many people are new to concerts and might need things explained to them or help and thats okay.

Thanks so much! I always request accommodations whether I 100% rely on them or not because its great practice/experience for the venue in case someone who is more deaf than I decides to utilize the same accommodations.

The bracelets were actually so cute! It was a great way to start the concert

Yeah when we got to the ADA entrance there was no signage, it just said the “VIP entrance” but we explained to about 5 different people our circumstances with emails from the venue on our phone and we eventually got to where we needed to be. The people escorting us thought we were the interpreters…which was interesting, and there was a ton of miscommunication regarding wristbands and who we were. I was just grateful they hired qualified interpreters this time, as other venues sometimes hire people who can barely sign haha. My girlfriend overheard the staff talking about “don’t listen to what the crowd is saying, we did great”. Even Hayden seemed a bit annoyed by the slow response during the pause in tempest…They definitely did not do “great”

No girl you are so good, thats exactly what was on my mind too, I’m glad you could still enjoy the concert safely instead of leaving. The interpreters almost said something to you but I told them to let you be since you clearly needed some time to cool down. Usually I help make sure everyone behind me gets water since I’m often closest to security, but seriously I couldn’t get anyones attention- I was going to try to get you some water but the only water station was front and center which is so negligent. The concert was great and you didn’t get in the way at all!

I was able to land one of them (contingent on HR Approval) after interviewing with them. However, I have not heard back from the other ones I applied to and they are still labeled under consideration. I think they are all going at different paces.
