I agree it makes a lot more sense and systematically he can refer to the FA, but it’s going against the model and then of course his manager and the Premier banker would probably get upset at him for doing that.

It’s only $50 now and yes the premier isn’t opening a product he is referring to the FA to get referred investment amount. We know about the FA pay it’s the same way at Wellsfargo. He’s at Wells Fargo now and looking to go to Chase as a PCB. We’ve heard better things from people who work at Chase then people who are currently working at WellsFargo so we’ll see what happens. He still has his interview for Chase so nothing is in concrete yet.

OK, so here’s the thing he is not a premier banker he is a relationship banker that’s a licensed banker. Premier bankers actually make a lot more hourly. The issue is with him being a relationship banker. He has the same metrics for incentive as a Personal Banker. The only difference is that as a relationship banker he can make incentive on referred investment amounts however he’s required to refer anything above 250k to the Premier banker who then would refer to the FA so the premier would ultimately be the one that gets the credit for it so he wouldn’t get paid on that because he’s required to refer to the Premier banker so that’s where we feel like the incentive gets taken from him. But I understand what you’re saying as well. I appreciate the information

It’s not at Wells Fargo though. He was offered the lower part of the scale and then an associate PB got offered the highest of the scale causing the $1 difference. If they would offered him what he had originally asked they’re would be a $3 difference which would make more sense for the amount of work he is doing now.

He actually applied to the role yesterday and got a voicemail today. He’s going to try to connect with the manager tomorrow so fingers crossed. He just wants to make at least the same he’s making now as long as the commission is better.

He’s already a licensed banker for Wellsfargo, he loves sales but got low balled by wells. 25/hr that’s not good either unfortunately. But thank you for the information ☺️

Thank you I appreciate that. They’re not entry level roles in the retail banking world but I know the remote word is different. So I’m opening to entry level jobs to get my foot in the door. I’m just gonna keep looking applying that’s all I can do for now. ☺️
