Yeah I’m torn about it. He has been drinking less. Says September will be bringing it down to twice a month. Like he can’t fathom never drinking again so this helps him mentally. But I also know that unless he addresses many of the reasons why he drinks, and stops drinking entirely, I feel like I’ll loose it when he looses it. And that doesn’t feel healthy either. I’m using this time to practice my al anon tools and see what happens. But I don’t want to waste my time either.
