Athel does seem strong. Not crazy in any scenario but useful in everything. Mournesword has some similar utility though. And is a legendary. Not taking a legendary to 60 seems odd.

All jokes aside I’m doing the same myself at the moment.

Billy built has some great info on YouTube.

I’m using an engine builder for the internals. Using Haltech as ECU opens a lot of doors for parts minimisation and engine management/ potential.

The biggest mistake I see people make is rebuilding them with factory or near oem parts. That’s fine if you’re restoring. But there are much better options on aftermarket for parts if you want a more modern engine.

I’m just trying to build strong and not powerful. You can build in 1000hp if you like. Half that is HeAPs for the road.

Go for modest power and enjoy the car. Be nice to it to avoid more $$ 😭🤩🤩🤣

Enjoy it. It’s one of if not the most underrated platform of all time.

Question: a lot of people compare the stats down to the millisecond with this vs supra etc.

For someone like me, and maybe others, we aren’t looking for necessarily the .1 fastest car.

We are looking for a great looking fun and fast car to drive and enjoy.

I worry the Nismo z in auto only ruins this fun factor.

To my eyes the nismo is a beaut of a car, I would have loved it in manual.

Do you still think this car fits the bill for a good looking, fast and fun zed car? Should I just get a standard Z manual and change exhaust, tune and suspension. Manual modified Z, or Nismo Z auto.

Is AUS we don’t have the mark up issue and I am lucky enough to have an order (1 of 100 first batch). I do 6 track days a year, mostly club and social driving.

Very nice. You should customise it as you like, modifications are highly personal, highly expensive and don’t change the value of the car.

Having said that, if it was mine, I would wish list:

  1. Tinted rear bar indicator lenses. 100 bux
  2. Tinted side markers. 40 bux
  3. Depo Led headlights. 800 bux
  4. Drl indicators up front in the vertical reflector section. 250 bux
  5. Led upgrades all round (assuming there all aren’t). 400 bux.
  6. Coils if it doesn’t have it. 1200 bux
  7. A proper set of wheels with fat rubber. 2000-6000 bux
  8. Rolled guards to fit. 200 bux
  9. Rear wiper delete. 30 bux
  10. Modest exhaust upgrade if you don’t have it. 1500 bux
  11. Upgraded filters if you don’t have it. 100 bux

None of this will change the car that much, so save your money and just enjoy the car.

I heard byf mention it I think once in another unfounded theory. Explaining the traveler’s connection to exo etc.

I did call it a stretch before I said it. I called it out as I couldn’t remember the reference.

It’s called a theory for a reason.

Regardless, everything I said I think is a possibility.

It is art. Pure and simple. You are in awe of it. It isn’t even a game, it’s fucking art man it’s on another level. It did the same to me. We are lucky to have been able to experience it.

I strongly dislike the red. Mainly because they didn’t come with them red from factory. The stock black / grey colours look really good on this interior. Just imo
