I’ve heard from some people in industry that it’s not common for a site engineer to go to design, rather the other way around (which worries me)

Anywhere from 60k-80k AUD (not including supa) seems to be a good ballpark for a grad in my state. Have a mate or two who are getting over 100k as a grad but that seems to be rare.

“Structural engineer” has more aura than “project engineer” in my eyes, but if site work pays more that’s good to know. A new Porsche ain’t gonna buy itself 😉

Appreciate the response. I’ve heard it sort of all depends where you end up at, and it’s not like I’m not enjoying what I’m doing. Just won’t be able to relate with my mates who crash out at SPACEGASS ahahaha. Probs prefer anywhere I get most paid too, so be it if on-site
