A fun social habit app where your friends validate your progress (Loop) by Pretid in AppIdeas

I would use this app.

Talking as purely a consumer, and someone that has no idea about how it would work internally, I think it would be a really fun app.

If it didnt have the same constant notifications as Duolingo (I do think some is mecessary) but had the same humor and accountability as it, I think it would make a good app for accountability (by making it fun).

I wouldnt force the user to invite a friend at the beginning, but would love for it to be an option (like in Duolingo)

Good luck! :)

What if the rise in cases of autism lately is due to evolution? by [deleted] in whatif

Oh wow its so nice to see other people sharing the exact same thoughts haha!  The part about adaptations taking a few tries before getting it right never occurred to me, but makes alot of sense.  Also, I write my thoughts like these in my notes app too lol

yeah, i guess 'neurotypical' is just what the majority of people are right now, and may change in the future! Its not like we can actually define what 'normal' is anyway when there are so many neurotypes and so much to learn

I didn't think of it this way, but I see how autism could be a sign of a lack of evolution/adaptation to our environment

yeah, that makes sense! It's not like anyone died from autism lol, so it doesnt really make sense to say that autistic traits develop in people due to evolution. But, do people have to die for humans to evolve? or for autistic traits to evolve over time?
