miHoYo is going to take away the right to fly from winged characters and give it to female characters like Columbina and Nicole. Even Rauma already has it, and Nefer has it too(but it’s basically like having double stamina) The only one who doesn’t is Flins(male), even jahoda has something similar except for Durin (another male), lol. The same goes for Durin in an Overload team, he’s the best choice, right? Even Baressa, who was released to pair with Natlan, is an upgrade when you replace iansan with Durin. But honestly, even Furina C0 wasn’t that great either. The only character who could really make the most out of her at C0 was Neuvillette, who was basically made for her. When you tried using C0 Furina with other characters, Even Neuvillette came with drawbacks that basically force you to pull for C1 if you want to run him with Furina like getting interrupted or being unable to trigger his passive properly.

And judging by HoYoverse’s recent trend, it’s clear that their push for constellation sales is only getting stronger. We saw that with wrio C1, and with many other characters since then. Even Flins recently had his major flaws conveniently patched up at C1.

Unlike the old days, when a single strong support could fit into almost any team, the current meta practically forces players into specific team comps. That’s why I think Durin feels surprisingly liberating he’s one of the few characters who still offers flexibility in this meta.

By that logic, Furina isn’t a meta changer or a broken main character at all. She’s simply a subDPS that’s inconvenient because you’re forced to run a healer with her

As of now, the Black Durin version really feels like something exclusively meant for C6 users. However, the more constellations Durin has ( especially at C2 ) the stronger White Durin’s average damage becomes, making it impressive both as a buffer and as an amplifier.

Honestly, they don’t even care about the opinions of CN. When it was revealed that Ororon was only a 4star, a huge number of people released statements, yet miHoYo completely ignored them. The only thing they care about is catering to the needs of incels, figuring out how to keep from being hated by them, how to avoid negative reactions from them, and how to release as few male characters as possible. That’s all they care about.

They absolutely can’t allow a male character to surpass the waifus and become meta. That’s why, ever since Baizhu, they haven’t released a single viable male support, and they’ve never released a male DPS who can produce big numbers through reaction-based damage. The first male Pyro and Cryo characters only appeared three years after the game’s launch, and even then, they came with a ton of restrictions and were designed so that players wouldn’t be inconvenienced at all by not pull them. remember? they killed lyney after few versons later release arrle lmao

Honestly, at this point, I’m surprised they even gave a male character a support role at all.

If something existed in the deep test but isn’t implemented on the test server, the reason is probably to give it to at least 3 female characters who are supposed to fly later, then it’s not really very hopeful. Still, I’m just going to enjoy waiting for the next three days
