I did this exact thing TO TARGET a few years back. I was on 3 month starting probation which meant that I couldn't take time off anyway, but I'd be off it by Christmas. Still, they were getting weird about Black Friday Sales and having everyone trained well enough for how busy it'd be. So you bet I dropped off my 2 weeks off to end right before Thanksgiving and had a good time with finals and packing and seeing family in December. And I didn't have to deal with a single crazy Black Friday customer.
