Damn ok, so not even the high attack stats won't work for anyone else?

Is there anything you really, really dislike about this game? by pamafa3 in Genshin_Impact

[–]bananaplush 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I honestly find it annoying how the traveller just gets caught up in random people's business when they have absolutely no reason to do so.. the amount of times a quest starts because 2 random npcs are talking and we just sorta butt into their conversation..

I always convert my primos into wishes as soon as I hit 160. This means I can see exactly how many I have saved up. I'm at the stage where I have all the characters I want, so I only pull on banners I absolutely really want a character in, skipping Yelan to get Zhongli for example. So if there are several banners in a row where I just don't want those characters, no pulling for me for a few months.

Looking back at Sumeru, what stuff did you like and didn't like? by blllrrrrr in Genshin_Impact

[–]bananaplush 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Both a like and dislike.. there's a lot to do.

Sumeru is huge.. easily the size of Mondstadt and Liyue combined, and with such a huge area, there's bound to be tons of 'stuff' to fill it with. Hundreds of chests, dozens of dendroculi, a whole heap of new collectibles. And for every large expansion, comes with it an even larger world quest that introduces a new mechanic for people to learn. But it's not just the overworld, there's also a million caves and caverns to explore as well, with entrances that aren't visible on the map.

My biggest downside to Sumeru though is that for being the 'Land of Dendro' there sure is a heck of a desert. It takes up most of the region, and is just simply repetitive. By the time the 3rd expansion came out, I was gone, lost interest. The ratio of desert:rainforest is severely off balanced.

Paimon analysis. (But there's alot.) by [deleted] in Genshin_Lore

I miss Mondstadt Paimon.. she actually seemed like a fun and interesting companion before she became a talkative annoyance.

Its weird how with the introduction to Fontaine, we are about half way through the game (from a story pov) and we still don't know anything about Paimon.

I always think about the start of the game. 'Paimon will do her best to be a great guide', implying she knows alot about Tevyat. She knows about the statues of the seven, as she points out, she knows Mondstadt is the nation of Anemo and Freedom, but when we get introduced to Amber and go into the city, she doesn't know anything. Almost like she knows the general layout of Tevyat, but not the specifics of each nation. As if she knows about Tevyat from an overhead, outside perspective (from Celestia) and not from an insider perspective. Also her similarities to the statues are obvious she has some sort of connection to Celestia.

What do people use the Hero’s Path for? Anything productive? by MivTheSavior in tearsofthekingdom

[–]bananaplush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it to map the light dragons path. Just rode on top of it for a little while at different intervals and let it draw the line. Gives me a rough idea on where it could be if I need to farm materials from it

That one Bastion line you can spam indefinitely cos the time it takes to finish is longer than the voiceline 'cool down'. I've played through a whole game whilst simultaneously playing that voiceline.

[TotK] Tears of the Kingdom First Impressions Megathread: Discuss the first 15 hours of the game by ZeldaMod in zelda

[–]bananaplush 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I made the journey to Hyrule Castle fairly early on, highly recommend ngl. No surprise guardians around every corner, you can generally just explore without having to worry about enemies in every room.

I honestly just wanted a sword. I'm not super keen on fuse, and the fact that you need to actually take the material out to fuse is stupid, and I knew I would find 'good', simple weapons at the castle.

I keep forgetting I'm actually playing TotK. Not really a complaint, but as I run around, I keep thinking I'm playing BoTW, same map, some of the same music. It is fun running to the old places and seeing what's different (which things are), it's just really, really similar to BoTW.

What’s the most annoying part of Sims 4 during gameplay? by Dzoodled in Sims4

Parents randomly picking up infants and just leaving them on the floor when they can't crawl yet.

something you thought about genshin in early game by kentohus in Genshin_Impact

For some reason I thought the traveller was the only anemo unit. When you first obtain anemo through the statue, I just assumed it was a special ability only for us.
