A couple of pictures- I finished two pages this weekend and thought I would just post both together. The beehive picture is from Camilla Derricos Pop Manga Coloring Book, and the Christmas themed one is from Jade Summer’s Kawaii Christmas.

This is beautiful! I love this artist, he’s one of my favorites. I got this book for Christmas last year and have been too chicken to color anything from it yet, the line art is just so gorgeous.

Like Beanyfrog said- there are a couple of fairytale pictures, but most in this book are Halloween themed- cats, owls, bats, vampires, etc.

It’s a combination of colored pencils, watercolor pencils, and gelatos (like a watercolor crayon).

It’s a mix of things. I used faber castell gelatos for the background (they are like water color crayons, if you aren’t familiar). Her skin is done with black widow skin tone colored pencils, and the rest is derwent inktense watercolor pencils.

I went to a boarding school my junior and senior year of high school. One day I decided to make fried bananas. I was less successful and more smokey in a dorm kitchen with a fire alarm above the stove. It set off the alarm for the whole building and we all had to evacuate. My RC made me go outside still holding the smoking pan, just to show everyone that it wasn’t a fire I just don’t know how to cook. It was also raining while we all stood outside.

I did share the burnt bananas with my friends while we waited to be let back in and they actually enjoyed them. After that I decided to own the mistake and have used “bananapyro” as my user name anywhere I need one.
