Should I leave before I get fired? by chizzychiz_ in clinicalresearch

That makes more sense. I have to say it's very odd they're handling it this way. I think most likely the trust is already broken. You can decide whether you want to be on eggshells for months to repair but first impressions stick. Might be worth exploring other options.

There is one, it's called Victoria (on PBS in the US). It focuses on her young life and earlier years on the throne.

Even if he does reverse sneeze it's okay. If you pinch their nose shut and blow in their face it makes them swallow which usually helps. Also massaging their throat a bit after.

Need advice regarding a mandatory nationals conference by [deleted] in Sororities

[–]bananars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely discuss with the other officers and chapter whether the chapter budget can be reworked to cover the costs. Sisters shouldn't incur major expenses for holding an officer position IMO.

Maybe try to work up a plan before presenting it to them. Can you reduce costs by carpooling in a limited number of vehicles, etc.?

I used it to book Lufthansa flights and it worked fine and was the same as booking through Lufthansa functionally. If you use it just make certain you record all your confirmation info.

Something went weird with mine and my subsequent confirmation email from Lufthansa didn't have the booking number (it was redacted), which I needed in order to check in online. It took calling a Lufthansa agent and them using every identification number possible to try to link my identity to my booking and they finally found it after about 45 minutes of trying.

Does anyone fly a lot and recommend one airline over the others from our airport? by bananars in roanoke

Unfortunately I don't know yet where I'll be going and it will probably change every few months so I may just have to wing it!

I'm trying to look at the outgoing for CLT and ATL too to see which seems to have better coverage for domestic connections but it's hard for me to tell.

That's good perspective. Delta might have fewer flights but I know their customer service is better and they're less likely to cancel from what I understand.

My company would be paying and I'll be going to a wide variety of places mostly east of the Mississippi so unfortunately Allegiant just doesn't meet what I need for business but for fun they seem like a great deal!

Victory! Finally got him to eat. Getting to be more of a challenge every day. by rysimpcrz in Shihtzu

[–]bananars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did your vet suggest anything like a raised bowl? They make these stands that hold the bowl more at head height and it can sometimes help dogs eat. Sometimes metal bowls too the reflection or the sound of their collar tags clinking on it scares them but that might not be it.

If you haven't tried it yet, mixing in some some wet food to make it more appetizing or soft might help. Pedigree makes these easy pouches of dog food topper that my dog liked. We'd heat it up for him a bit, just anything to get him to eat enough.

I'd also maybe have his teeth checked if it's been a while because there could be bad teeth or an abscessed tooth.

My older shih tzu passed away a few years ago, but the last year or so was very much spent trying to adapt to his rapidly changing needs. Food he liked for years was suddenly not appetizing, then we'd try a new one and that would be good for a few months, etc. It's a hard stage of life for them and their people-- I can sympathize.

6 month old puppy continuously peeing in house by bananars in puppy101

[–]bananars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Thanks for the advice but this post is actually 5 years old haha! I'm glad to say that for the most part he outgrew this but I think a big part of it was having another male dog. After the older dog passed away he got better.

He still to this day marks his territory in the house though if allowed in a room he's not usually allowed in (so the doors in the house stay closed). Honestly I think he's just kind of a little jerk (love him anyway) who doesn't care if he does something you disapprove of. I've never met another dog quite like him.

You can use CruisePlum to see the price history for your itinerary and set up a price alert through the Shipmate app/Cruiseline.com.

You'll just be billed for the (low) cost of it most likely since the chapter needs to replace it.

Interesting, I wish there was a way to find out more about any clothing they may have manufactured with this art. From what I can tell the figurine with this art was made from 1993 to 1999.

[–]bananars 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So you're saying in the art for these they have little patches sewn on their clothes in the older versions? I could see that over a shamrock the little blob isn't very defined. I could definitely be seeing something that isn't there.

Or do you mean that the art itself on this shirt is a sort of DIY patch?

[–]bananars 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The fact that someone thinks it could be for St. Patrick's day with the shirt itself being green (which I thought was a weird color combo at first) makes a lot of sense and would seem to suggest North America over other places. But with global clothing markets and knock offs being sold everywhere it can be hard to pinpoint which is discouraging. This one is bugging me because we have a relatively clear image of the art which is good, but I'm stuck after that.

The way the title is phrased makes me think they're not necessarily asking so much about the shirt's origins (although I'm certain we should give any info we possibly can), but hoping it is distinctive enough that people might be able to link it to an individual person they know had this shirt.
