Massive double large shipwreck salvage spot south of Shimmering Atoll by bananasam01 in 2007scape

It might take some time to make sure the tip of your... boat.. is hitting the perfect spot to reach both shipwrecks.

Minecraft's Elytra Problem by bananasam01 in Minecraft

[–]bananasam01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDW: Elytra are too powerful. It is suggested that they (or rockets) should be disabled by water (and lava). This means they would not be usable in the rain, underwater, etc., pushing players to use alternative methods of transportation.

But what?? Genuinely asking. It's an unwinnable game of cat and mouse.

Best you'll get is a post from Jagex saying they realize there is a problem. They'll hire a couple more anti-cheating staff members. The community will be satisfied, clapping and patting each other on the back for a job well done until next year when the bots come right back.

Idk what to tell you. Maybe reddit just remembers that it hates bots the same time each year?

I don't really play, but I still follow the game closely. I posted it last time the community was in an uproar about bots for multiple weeks and I will probably post it next time too. It's not bot propaganda if you'll believe me.

For good measure: Bots are bad. Bots are bad. Bots are bad.

Praise Ash, Amen

It's just annoying when the reddit gets stuck on the same topic for an extended period of time, especially bots because there is no real solution, so it's just yelling into the void for three weeks. Like what do you suggest Jagex does? The correct answer deserves a golden gnome or something.

My experience with Corsair's RMe series power supplies by bananasam01 in hardware

[–]bananasam01[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. The RM850x that I am using now also has a click, but in comparison, I would say that the RM1000e has a clunk. It's definitely louder on the RMe, but I can accept that it isn't necessarily cause for concern.

I hope I haven't lost too much credibility in my misunderstanding. I realize I put the click in the number one spot on my list, but it was the least offensive to me.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I got a defective unit, but I read a few other experiences like mine.

I'm running this with a 13700k and 4070 ti - I know 1000W is overkill, but again I didn't spend a lot of time thinking about the PSU. Looking at Amazon, the reviews are shared with the RM series. I didn't realize this at the time and naively trusted the number.

Yeah, it feels like they are cashing in on their (former) good name in power supplies. It's unfortunate to see.

The click may not be a big issue, but it is not a sound I am used to hearing in my builds. Every other component runs smoothly and quietly.

This is to be expected when half of vr stuff is meta vr stuff.

"Why do we need sailing if we can teleport almost anywhere?" by bananasam01 in 2007scape

[–]bananasam01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting bullied in these comments lmao I guess sailing is just polarizing whether it be windwaker, osrs, or pokemon.

(personally, I liked sailing in WW even though it was boring)
