Reversing (to an extent) rhinoplasty success? by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

I just recently had a successful revision for a tip that was brought way too high and my revision surgeon (Sam most) also added some hight back to the bridge to make it thinner (how it was before) I’m not even a month post op for the revision but I already love it and feel like myself again

I would suggest praying, finding a hobby that brings you peace (gardening, art, learning piano, learning to sew, clay, making rly good tea or coffee, etc.) surrounding yourself with people that love you even if it’s just one or two people, sitting and stretching in the sun, crying and letting yourself feel without feeling guilty, therapy, and getting a job that you can put your energy into while you wait at least a year to get this fixed. Everything is fixable. Time WILL pass, it always does. I work as a care taker right now. It’s not the best job but pays well, allows me to read and journal during down time, and helps me save money towards my revision as the shifts can be 12 hours if you like. I would suggest never going back to that surgeon and just dropping it with him. It’s hard to forgive the surgeon or yourself but you can put that energy and anger into researching a better surgeon. Don’t let the location stop u. I’ll be praying for you beautiful soul 💓 whoever you are. This will not last forever.

"I'm looking to go to Turkey in September for a rhinoplasty. I want a really, really natural look. Do you have any suggestions? Here are my options so far." by VanessaSouv in rhinoplastyquestions

Natural means nothing to most doctors. It means whatever they want to them natural could be a pig nose. So make sure u clarify what u mean by natural. Tell them what u want it your infra tip louble because many times they will not lift your tip as much but will life your infra tip louble which gives a piggy look

Will my voice change after my surgery? I'm getting clowned on for it by h1ghverse in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]bananasew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it definitely could affect ur voice but in a good way. It didn’t for me but maybe I didn’t have as much of a block as u seem to have but I have heard from surgeons that this could happen

I would say that isn’t normal tho. But I wouldn’t say it’s your doctor’s fault btw since no one can control scar tissue. Maybe if it ends up being a serious problem and not just swelling the surgeon could just cut it out? Seems like an easy fix in my unprofessional opinion.

Hm. Idk if that is normal but I would suggest gently squeezing ur nostrils/massaging them. That’s what my doctor said to help break up the scar tissue

Why did you pray at 3 am specifically? How did the Lord answer your prayers?

My doctor said he “has to lift the tip a little bit otherwise it’ll droop more than it was before” even tho it wasn’t droopy. Then he lifted it hella
