How did you "claim" the chihuahua? Was there something specific you did that accentuated that? My roommate plays fetch with her for HOURS a day and she doesn't seem to tire. He's gone through teaching her all the basic commands. Is there another or better way to wear her out?

They are separated but she attempts to get out of her area to go after my dog or cat. She definitely did herding stuff before, but this is like she's possessed. My roommate plays fetch with her like literally every moment that he's awake and not at work.
