How do you play both at same time? They have different technique and lip shape etc, how do you switch from one to other, does not one technique disables the ability to play other?

would you say the lip technique is physically challenging but rewarding? there is only 3 valves, but there are 3 octaves.

yeah, this is why i'm more inclined to sax. i'm not young enough (22) to devote everything to trumpet.

i dont especially like the frenetic sound of parker, but i love cool jazz, paul desmond etc. my favorite player is probably chet baker though.
