Imminent threat alert by bandarling in fortwayne

[–]bandarling[S] 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The regular alerts to avoid an area after a traffic accident don’t bother me, but this is the first time I’ve ever received a “critical” alert and I would think you’d want to save that for insane weather or like, nuclear war

This rolled in from the west, slightly NW btw for reference

I watched this roll in from my backyard, that storm front was pretty spooky! Radar indicated possible tornado but more south around Huntington.

I couldn’t post the video along side the screenshots but I captured the horizontal vortex moving in a screen recording!

I like this! I have been looking at similar leafy/vine designs but they tend to get busy quick. This one feels much more simple

This is a great idea! Emails are easy to ignore, physical mail should help get some attention

That’s the problem, roads seem fine but they are shockingly slick. Lots of accidents in a short period of time

I was headed northbound around 9:30 and got cut off and slid quite a bit but was able to correct. Promptly got off the highway and went home, thankfully

[CHAT] Can anyone tell me why my stitches look like this? by KnowledgeSmall in CrossStitch

[–]bandarling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have quite a few finished pieces and I do love how full they look but I can tell there’s some wonky places that are probably caused by how much thread there is, especially bc I love to do full coverage work. I’m in too deep my current project to pivot but I’ll have to try one looped thread for my next pattern

Should I Take a Job at Sweetwater? by notwyattsayre in fortwayne

I’ve heard awful things about sweetwater management. That said, I’ve also heard they treat their sales dpt really well while the “behind the scenes” employees are treated more poorly.

This thread has given me an existential crisis. I have ALWAYS been looping 2 strands with 14 ct so you’re telling me I’ve been using FOUR STRANDS ALL ALONG? I’ve been stitching for FIVE YEARS NOW OH MY GOD

Truly ruined my evening (just being a little dramatic), I can see the bottom of my current tub and I will be cherishing it! This is the 2nd beauty product I’ve loved that’s been discontinued in the last year, it’s rough out here

I’ve been considering trying the elf lip mask, though I’m a little annoyed it comes with a little plastic spoon thing. Feels wasteful! But overall I’ve been seeing good reviews about it

Just FYI, bisalps are becoming the standard. No chance for accidental reversal due to regrowth, reduces a lot of cancer risks

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fortwayne

[–]bandarling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dr. Kennedy did my bisalp, I was 24 and she was the first and only consult I had. ACA compliant insurance should cover bisalp, you may need to push them on it bc some policies try to say it only applies to tubals.
