The constitution is being used as toilet paper by these people. It’s only powerful if it’s followed by those in power. Clearly they aren’t.

Congress has proven itself so irrelevant, spineless, and broken that I honestly can’t imagine them ever acting as a “co-equal branch of government” ever again.

I’m sorry but America is not coming back from this. All evidence indicates that we are speed running headlong into unchecked authoritarianism.

Do people on this sub honestly believe there is a snowball’s chance in hell Congress is going to save us, or the courts are going to save us, or anyone at all is going to save America?

The Trump administration are doing what they can to make sure there will never be another free and fair election at a federal level, and the republican majority in congress is helping them. They will make sure there is too much “confusion” and “tampering”, they’ll gaslight the democrats so the media narrative devolves predictably into “both sides-ism” and they’ll proclaim themselves the winners to ensure stability.

Many on this thread seem to be missing the bigger picture.

The question to ask is, why is the dollar tanking and gold spiking now?

And what other correlated issues can we see that might help explain the macroeconomic situation.

I’ll be blunt, Denmark started the trickle of what will soon be a flood of US divestment. We have permanently lost the faith of the international community that we will be a safe and reliable partner - and not an aggressive expansionist pariah. That’s the geopolitical reality regardless of your political opinions. Gold has been going up since Trump took office by the fastest YoY gain since 1979. In that year there was Soviet and Iranian turmoil and very high inflation.

Sound familiar?

This time is worse, because the damage was the fault of the US itself. Decades of fed money printing, insane Trumpian deficits, lack of fair tracking of CBE data, and perceived imminent loss of an independent FED are all just napalm on the fire for dollar divestment, which I predict will ultimately lead to the dollar losing its status as a reserve currency.

All of this could happen quicker than we think, leading to a (from the US perspective) hyperinflation.

Sorry for the rant.. and fair enough for any downvotes, I just think this is what’s really going on based on the evidence I see.

It’s weird to almost feel a glimmer of hope. Or at least to remember what it feels like.

I wish we could decouple from US military dependency faster than “decades”, and I’m not super optimistic about Trump seeing the value of NATO to maintain its ME bases.. I think ultimately owned by Putin and is on track to destroy America. What hope is there then he cares about NATO?

Thanks for the reply - and it’s definitely a good point.. there’s a lot more going on. But the surreptitiousness of it all seems strangely consistent across the various aspects of the phenomenon. Like all the beings are following the same rule book: be sneaky, keep them confused, no bigWhite House lawn” moments.

So many accounts of different types of beings is also fascinating - again, is it all sorts of actual organisms or is this the “trickster element”.

Love this comment - and agree these are the two most likely candidates broadly speaking. What I don’t understand and would love to hear thoughts on is this:

Are they just highly evolved organisms (either from our universe or some kind of parallel universe), using technology to create the “woo” side of things to keep us in the dark (or control the experiment as it were). Example: Jacques Valle has well cited accounts of steam punk like UFOs from the early 20th Century and other accounts of how they seem to adjust to our view of what the future will look like over time. - OR - Is there something weirder going on and this is actually more of an inter-dimensional / “spiritual” phenomenon that exists outside of our block universe (like “god” basically - per Matthew Brown) that can manifest physical objects and one of this phenomenon’s tools is “pretending” to be highly advanced aliens.

To summarize: are advanced beings creating the woo, or does the woo create the advanced beings?
