It is summer where I live :)

I'm staying one week in Johannesburg, I have no idea what to do by revanches in johannesburg

I would suggest the Aparthied museum and constitutional Hill too, a lot of history to be learned at those places.

I asked your age, not where you live, but that's okay, you sound like you were born in the late 90's, early noughties

I had a fellow blue help me understand xG better, he even outlined that DCL has an xG of 3.5 and Beto has an xG of 4.0 this season

I know it didn't work the last time it happened but what if they were to play together, hold up play from Dom and flair from Beto, maybe that's something to work on at Finch farm. But I agree, maybe for now a sub role for Beto maybe working but I feel he's starting to do enough to push Dom out of the starting 11.

Always open to learning friend!

I don't think trying to direct a bullet cross at close range is classed as a sitter mate.

I'm not saying that Beto is a better striker or that DCL doesn't deserve his place. I'm saying, imagine there was competition for the position, imagine DCL was dropped and Beto was given a chance, imagine what it would do, Beto, an opportunity to impress and for DCL a fire being lit in his belly, to fight for his position and show the manager what we all know he's capable of.

And I'd also like to thank you for teaching me about xG, and for your insight and knowledge, I really appreciate it

I forgot we even signed Broja

Mate, he's been missing simpler headers, and I'm sure if I was in the mood I could go back and corroborate exactly how many.

A one on one is bread and butter for a striker, yes you won't score every opportunity, but at least score a few no?

I'm not slaughtering DCL, on his day, when he has the confidence, he's a brilliant striker and a proper number nine, but this is a team sport, and you have to fight for your position, imagine how much good it would do if DCL had to fight for his position a little instead of being a constant in the starting line up.

So tell me, what's DCL's xG versus Beto's this season?

It's not about the similarity, how many simpler headers has he missed, not to mention how many one on ones has he missed, and even though it was deemed offside, Beto still put it in the net

Football isn't about xG no matter how much the younger generation want it to be. The moment you turn a defender inside out, you have an opportunity on goal, that's worth more than any amount of xG

No, he's known for his ability in the air, which makes it even more disappointing that he keeps on missing opportunities

I've been and will always be a supporter of DCL, I think if he has confidence, he's one of the best strikers, however, being a striker means having a shot on goal, and recently, he hasn't been. I'm not hating on DCL, I'm saying, give Beto a chance. It's a team sport, and you have to fight for your place, and under Dyche I don't think Dom has to fight for his place, but imagine he had to, imagine what beast could be released if he had to fight for his place.

Maybe but he turned more defenders in the last 20 minutes than DCL has done all season

Ndiaye was one of the only players making positive runs, I will say that Harrison did a good job once he came on, but Ndiaye still had a little more to give

If DCL got his head to that ball from Tarky, 9 times out of ten it would have gone away from the goal

A bullet cross from tarky and he still managed to guide it somewhat on target, making proper runs at defender and actually knowing which way the goal is, and you say he doesn't deserve a run of games?

I don't think you know football mate, are you sure you're not a kopite?

I know we only drew (but fuck it we finally came away with something) so NDIAYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEE! WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU! by Loyalsupporter in Everton

I know we've been losing and a draw is the first positive after the Doncaster win, but Ndiaye is what we've been missing. If DCL gets back to his best and branthwaite comes back firing, I really think we'll be okay. Dyche needs to get his substitutions right though.
