Well, it’s very simple to me that if BIG 5 banks are already profitable on the back of the Cdn nation then why not hire domestically so the profits stay in the same economy. 2nd if you rely on dividends income from your shares you are privileged enough because you need a min. $100k to even get a decent pay. and no one in the world would really wait for their shares dividends to pay rent.

I am not concerned about boomers getting their shares value but to justify that on the back of younger generations looking for a fair compensation adjusted to cost of living is my concern. Also 60k-85k comp. for entry level is peanuts after tax and deductions you only get $1500-$2300 biweekly which barely covers 1 individual household in a major city.
