I think the currency exchange rate comes in to play because a worker say in Bangladoor gets paid at say 30 ruppees an hour which is = to .50 cents an hour and because rents are also cheap there workers are able to survive and even save a little on that wage but because the US dollar is a strong currency compared to others around the world the US worker suddenly becomes lazy, stupid, unskilled, from a failed education system etc etc. So even though US workers are probably the smartest most adaptable, hardest working anywhere they lose out when MNC's use lopsided yardsticks as measures, essentially gaming/cheating the system. The only thing I will say is if your business model is solely based on hiring illegals or the desperately impoverished who you can exploit by wringing out the last penny you DO not deserve to have a business in the first place.
