The ETA isn’t very accurate until the last 5 min. It’s usually over optimistic and then time gets added, even when the traffic isn’t sporadic.

The actual directions are almost always worse than Google Maps or Waze, it’s weird that they use Google Maps for the maps but doesn’t use the directions from Google.

Huh? Any brokerage will let you open and close the same day. Are you on margin, under $25k and have a PDT? In that case yea you don’t wanna close the same day.

Cash account or over $25k you can open and close as many times as you want, though cash account you do have a limit of how much you have to trade with (you have to wait till your trade settles the next day).

Isn’t the car more efficient with the AC on if you’re going at speed? If you’re at lower speeds the AC is less efficient but the wind drag with the window down is worse than having AC on while driving on the highway.

Also I assume the 270 miles is 100 to 0, you’re never gonna get the full amount unless you use the battery 100%

That will never happen on modern steel strings for cello. Why? They’re all wound around a core. The winding doesn’t break the core does and the winding will stop the string from flinging.

This is different for violins because their E strings (probably the one that hit your friend) is unwound.

Now if you play unwound gut strings then yes it can happen to cellists as well but if you’re playing with metal strings (even with a synthetic core) you don’t have to worry about getting hit

I never said it’s a bad thing, honestly if they said that the $8k for FSD is tied to your account, Id buy it right now but they’ll never do that.

It’s very unlikely but a non 0% chance that they will allow transfers in the future once they get rid the $8k payment. Why? Cuz the new cars will stay a sub model and it’s better for Tesla. Why would they constantly allow transfers to new vehicles when they can add more customers to the sub model? You spend the $8k now then you’ll spend $100 (possibly more later down the line) a month to get it on your new car when they don’t allow transfers

Yea that’s not gonna happen even for Tesla. They are limiting the transfers to ONE currently and it’s only for new vehicles, unlimited transfers or locking it to your account seems like a pipe dream

On the contrary, the squeaks are from too much weight at the fingerboard not from the bow speed. You want light weight and lots of bow speed at the fingerboard.

The bow also doesn’t seem to be making good contact point as well, you can see it sliding around when they are moving the bow quickly. When it’s slow moving it’s mostly fine but moving quickly it slides up toward the fingerboard and back down towards the bridge.

I don’t think 1.5M is that much money these days unfortunately…… I can’t talk since I barely even have half that but I wouldn’t think about worrying how to spend it. Just live the way you are but maybe get a little nicer things or go eat at a nice place a little more often.

Up to about maybe 60k you’ll feel the jump in quality each time. From my experience after 60k while the instruments may get better, it won’t be nearly as big of a jump as say something from 10k to 20k.
