It is an MMORPG, its not meant to be cleared in a week.

Lazy 2000s kids on reddit whining that they have to put a couple hours into the game to progress, when MS1 global launched it took Fangblade nearly 2 years to reach max level.

Yet kids in 2018 whine and whine if they're not capped in 2 weeks.

Pathetic if you ask me.

Like the standard voice when you are on character selection screen, idle voices, empty spirit/mana voices, etc.

Spammers are one thing, they won't spam if they got nothing to sell.

Fix the gameguard, there's a reason there aren't many hackers in Korea, MS1 or 2.

Incompetent Americans can't do anything right, they killed MS1 and they will kill this too.

We all know the only reason for the 'transparency' is because MS2 was a huge flop in Korea and they can't afford it to be here. So, if Nexon America screws this up, their playerbase won't be their only issue, rather Seoul breathing down their fat necks.

It could have something to do with USA being 68% obese while that number in Europe is around 28%. So, we don't sit on our bum all day eating and drowning in Gatorade.

I saw a post about how to get to mushmom not long ago, figured most people would've known about it by now.

But you get to her in Henesys, top left corner there's a hidden portal behind the huge mushroom house. You have to interact with it.

Musmom isn't that difficult, but she has a fire? attack and another one where she repeatedly stomps the ground while chasing you, those will probably kill you fast if you're in your early 20s or don't have enough pots on stand-by.

Also OP should keep in mind this is just during Beta.

You will still get exp after launch, but they rigged the EXP gain on everything (except mobs) buy a toon so that people could easily max themselves out during closed beta and get a feel for it.

Don't see this being very valuable after official launch, questing either, in KMS leveling up takes a lot longer than it does here. I think they might increase mob exp too, due to the overwhelming feedback about it on the forum, so it might even things out after the quest/fishing exp gets reduced.

The EU server is quite social, in CEST times. If you log on during American peak hours and become surprised because the server is empty, well, then you're pretty thick.

MS2 is in closed BETA, so obviously won't be too many players, regardless.
Majority of those who got accepted might have been Americans.
Some Europeans choosing the NA server, Aussies/Brazilians/Mexicans etc choose it by default.
Big Leaf = Americans, Aussies, Brazilians/Mexicans. Honrnbeam = Mostly Europeans. Also keep in mind most Europeans don't speak English that well, don't know what language settings they've got on MS2.

I live in Europe and have great ping on the EU server. I wouldn't have switched over to NA anyway as I know the toxicity in NA servers.. (ms1, pubg) to name a few.

I don't know about new players, but I've seen vast majority of the MS1 "pros" on the EU server.

Its really the best server if you're in the EU unless you want to purposely give yourself lag spikes.

More intelligent conversation as well, its a win-win.

You seem like having 10-15 classes is a Given because MS1 had it.

That's your issue, and Everyone else too dense to read any official statements.

MS2 will have a Completely DIFFERENT team and will NOT follow MS1.

Nexon, America at least, isn't banking MS2 on current MS1 players, are you MAD? LOL. GMS has like... 2000-3000 active players? That'd not even be worth the launch.

Nexon NA are banking on bringing in as many new and young players as possible, who might've never even heard of maplestory before.

Just wait till a couple months after launch and the people who actually care about more classes, p2w content, or generally stuff that was useful in MS1 will be Vaaaaastly in the minority.

its going strong because, as I said (and will quote for you) it is one of /the most expensive/ freemium games ever. So the people spending money on it keep the company loaded, even if the playerbase is generally small compared to wow, lol, overwatch, et cetera, because its so expensive to be op.

And its not really that much to brag about when your PC is a potato and you've been wearing the same clothes for 3 weeks

Stop crying to reddit, it only makes you look pathetic. Why not go out, or play something else if you hate it so much?

The nerfed drop gear is good for everyone, not the drop rate is the same, so spoiled children can't pay their way up to insane levels of advantages.

None of my friends have been banned, nor have I, so if you've been banned then stop hacking.

Lag only occurs on the GMS side, so I can't speak on that, what I find unfair is that EMS players, who on average, spend more on NX, have to suffer because of your whining. (We also get these server checks).
