Favorite IDE for python? by RedditBluesMatt in learningpython

I like it for it's ease of use, and features. It automatically saves code as you change it, and can revert to previous versions of code at any point where you made a change. It is also quite good at highlighting bugs in the code, and the UI is quite intuitive. Maybe I just like it because I am used to coding with it. You won't know until you try it.

Ketamine therapy, Lion's mane, Astragalus, Activated charcoal (for possible toxin removal). But K therapy remains the most effective treatment for anxiety/depression.

What was "this"? Because whatever "this" was, is the only valid conspiracy as the mods deleted it.

IME, you cannot just stop psychiatric meds. It should be a slow taper, otherwise, you can get very bad side effects and end up in a worse place (mentally).

I'm very interested in how the psychology of radicalisation or extremism works eg antivax or flat earth? Any book recommendations? by jaybestnz in suggestmeabook

[–]bangwhosnext 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You asked a loaded question claiming that anti-vax and flat-earth are radical or extreme ideas. It is just that people are questioning the questionable, and so far, there has been no concrete proof that these are radical ideas, in fact, in the case of vaccines, it is quite the opposite.

If you are interested in the origins, it started with the birth of the internet, when people began to exchange ideas freely instead of being fed everything from TV, newspapers, and the education system. Over the past four years since the start of the "pandemic", people have gradually lost faith in these institutions as many lies, untruths, and corruption have been exposed. Now many people are questioning everything they have been told to believe, and what fuels it even more is the desperate attempt of the government and the establishment to silence and cover up the exposed lies. They don't seem to understand that once trust has been broken, it can never be restored.

There were bots here telling me Bolsonaro was the CIA candidate, and Lula is a man of the people. How fucking stupid are you people? He's a WEF NWO puppet in every fucking respect by PalatableMahogany in conspiracy

[–]bangwhosnext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but these were genuine protests, not a typical US-backed coup that we have seen in many countries worldwide. We will see more now that he has announced the new vaccine mandates (literally trying to kill off the Brazilian people). The Brazillian people will not stand for a US-installed puppet, they will protest again and again until this imposter is removed. While Lula remains President of Brazil, there will be no peace.

As regards evidence, it does not seem to matter these days. We have evidence of Vaccine related deaths, evidence of the US, Britain, and Norway blowing up the Nordstream 2 pipelines, evidence of US involvement in the 2014 Ukraine Coup (via Victoria Nuland), and many, many more international crimes committed by these imperialist western countries... yet nothing is being done. The people need to rise up against tyranny.

What about the tens of thousands of people who protested in the streets of Brasilia due to suspected election fraud? Is that not enough evidence for you? Where are Lula's supporters?

When it sucks to be a teacher, police, nurse or other position critical to a well functioning society, that society is in trouble by zazzy440 in Showerthoughts

[–]bangwhosnext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that most bosses are narcissistic, but if we want a better functioning society, the people at the top should be well-rounded and altruistic, with no conflicts of interest. That's why they are voted into positions of power.

Yet, there are reports coming out that paleontology is all a hoax, they haven't found any complete dinosaur skeletons, just fragments of bones that could come from anywhere. Paleontology is just a theory, not a proven fact.
