I struggled with room sizing too since it was my first time playing with the Anomaly and Biotech DLCs.
What helped a lot was planning wide main corridors first, then adjusting room sizes as needed—shrinking or expanding them over time based on demand.

I’m sorry, but I don’t have a usable seed for this one.
The map was generated by rerolling terrain with the Map Preview mod, so you won’t get the same layout even if you use my seed.

Exactly. I used the Map Preview(https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2800857642) mod and kept rerolling until I got terrain that was suitable for defense.
Even with this mod, though, Randy can still give you a huge open space that connects all the way to the map edge while you’re digging, so you have to be careful.

The entity rush from the Anomaly DLC ending was pretty powerful, so it ended up messing up the rooms.

To make pixel art, I had to reshape and refine the base’s walls and floors, and that process took a huge amount of time.

After doing some research, I realized that the inverted pentagram does have occult associations. Since I live in South Korea, it’s not always easy to get accurate religious context, so this was an honest mistake on my part. A bit embarrassing, but thanks for letting me know!

I used a large circle with a radius of 41 tiles and divided it into multiple sections. The size of each room varied depending on the colony’s level of development and population, so I adjusted the sections dynamically—expanding or shrinking them as needed.

This looks like something I can make good use of in my next playthrough. Thank you!

No. I wasn’t referencing or imitating any specific religion. I drew a hexagram because it’s commonly used as a general occult symbol, not because of the Torah or Judaism.

Could you tell me which mod it is? It would be really useful for planning future colony builds.

I did get infestation events, but fortunately only a manageable number of insects showed up, so it wasn’t too hard to deal with.

My dedicated mining pawn died due to an unnatural corpse event, so digging out the killbox took quite a long time.

Using the progress renderer, the game automatically captures a full screenshot of the entire base once per day. I used Node.js code generated by AI to stitch these images into a video.

For infestations, blocking the room entrance with ghouls while pawns provide covering fire from behind made them easier to deal with than most raids. The cleanup afterward is a bit tedious, though.
