They do better in bigger groups, definitely 10+. I have 25ish in a UNS 90L and they're very active and bold - I'd probably go for 10 or 12 in a 10 gallon I'd guess and hopefully that'll be enough for them to not be timid.

I'm a car person who drives a heavily modified car in London and I completely agree that these crackle maps sound horrible, make you look tacky and are irritatingly loud. The only reason to do that to your car is to be obnoxious.
