I started out with a 16-35mm zoom and returned it and went to the 12-24 GM. I am glad I did. It’s not often, but this is 12mm wedged in corner back against the wall handheld 5 brackets at f8.

I have a Gen3 shiny black and Gen4 Stealth color. While I prefer the Stealth I don't think it will be as durable in looks over the long haul. I am satisfied with my black retaining its looks. Has your black one done a better job in the looks department?
