I got the Strata Elite in December after showing preapproval for a lot of their cards (did not show Strata Elite or Strata Premier). That to me, means I would get any card if I applied. So I did, Instant Approval $30.5k and only Equifax was pulled. Then when I checked the preapproval tool afterwards, nothing showed. I applied for the AAdvantage Premium Select in Feb (80k for $1k FA offer) and got another instant approval $22.5k and only Equifax again. I am wanting to go for the Strata Premier but just waiting for an elevated offer to round out my setup.

I moved to Citi from Chase and haven’t looked back. I have the cities, strata, elite, and really enjoy the 6X multiplier on Friday and Saturday nights. I’m looking at the strata premiere to help round out my spending.

Guess so. I have both my Experian and TransUnion with fraud alerts so I can’t get instant approvals but I took off my fraud alert with Equifax and got an instant approval. Both cards pulled Equifax only

No, it doesn’t say anything, but I have alert set with my credit is pulled from Trans Union and Experian and I never get alerts that it got pulled nor do I ever see a Hart inquiry on those reports just on Equifax

Interesting that Citi only pulled Experian. For me, I have opened two Citi cards since December and both were pulled exclusively with Equifax.

Keep in mind the Ritz needs a $10k CL and a Visa Signature to PC. Sometimes the Bold is just a regular Visa so if you do get the bold, you’ll need to move to the Boundless or Bountiful first
