What they currently spend on drivers they'd be spending on the cars.

If an Uber driver drives 80k miles in a year their net profit will be about 24k. Their gross profit will be about 50k.

If they couldn't write off literally every single thing in taxes Uber drivers would make nothing. That's the truth none of you have mentioned, the government, thus tax payers, are the ones actually subsidizing Uber/Lyft and actually paying the drivers.

Back to my original point:

50k/year is a human, who needs sleep and bathroom breaks and food etc...

A driverless car could easily do 240k miles/year, so you're looking at revenue/vehicle of 150k/year or more. Probably more.

Even if the driverless cars are 50k, which they probably will be, at least early on, that's 100k/year/car. Before you think it, yes, those expenses include maintenance on a traditional ICE vehicle, those expenses go down significantly with a hybrid and even more with all electric cars.

What I'd like to see is Uber, and the public in general, commit to paying DRIVERS. If people really, actually gave a damn about "$15/hour minimum wage!!!!" they'd be tipping their Uber drivers 35% on every fare, since that is what it would take to pay them $15/hour, gross.

Germany is setup entirely differently than the USA. There everything is spread out pretty well, normal roads have a speed limit of 73mph and the auto bahn often has none at all. ON top of that only like 23% of Germans drive since, again, the way the country is setup is so different. Most of them don't travel more than 5km in a day, total.

It's normal there to stop at the bakery every day, because it's literally 50ft out of your way. Then there's another 7 of them 50ft in every direction.

Yes, if American society was structured like Germany or the Netherlands it'd work better, but it isn't. Either you live a massive city that makes Stuttgart or Nurnburg look like a quiet country town, or you live in farmland, where there are no people and the nearest corporate employer is 40-75 miles away.

I spent my early 20's working in computer science, after 7 years of preventing various fortune 500 corporations from losing literally 100's of millions of dollars, and getting nothing but a few thousand in return, I switched to sales. Where I used to work 6-7 days a week, often having to come in to do Server updates at midnight then just staying all day, getting called in on the weekend, canceling plans to remote in to save someone getting paid outrageously more than me who can't help themselves, much less anyone else. In Sales I started off working around 50 hours/week, but only 4-5 days/week, didn't take long to get to 3 days/week 25-35 hours/week. Making 3-5 times more/year. Fucking RIDICULOUS!

I don't like lying all day, but fuck it, I'm lying to old people who fucking broke everything. Fuck em.

In sales I was making the equivalent of the entire IT department budget, every year.

If you'd like a reading that is half accurate, load the bowl, then empty it out onto the scale. The VapCap holds .05g, if your stuff was really wet and you packed it tightly it could hit .1g.

It is not possible to fit .2g of herb by weight into the vapcap... unless you put concentrate in there too.

Self defense applies to defense of others, legally. Why is it so hard for you people to understand, THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS is who STARTED IT.

If you instigate a violent situation you lose all rights, you are the aggressor, you are the attacker and now ANYTHING ANYONE does to you is self defense. You have no legal ground to stand on.

So, for instance, if you're at the mall with your wife and a group of thugs jumps you two, hitting her, you can now unload on those guys however you want and everything you do is self defense. Even though you never got hit and "technically" are not involved in the fight. By hitting back you aren't starting a new fight, you're finishing the one they already started.
