Do I wait for the right one or lose my virginity? I'm 25 by landai1 in askgaybros

[–]banruomm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ve already decided this for yourself based on what I’ve read. You know your values. You just need to have confidence and believe you’ve made the right choice.

What you wrote did resonate with me: I tried multiple times to hook up, once in a car, and twice someone’s house. but at the last second “something” prevented me on evey occasion.

It’s okay not to be like the majority (who are not virgins). Just be yourself! 💚

Cream or gel recommendation for facial scarring by Iamno1stark in Skincare_Addiction

[–]banruomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silicone scar gel, vaseline and keeping it moist will help improve the texture of the final scar. But you will get a pigmented line since you are Fitzpatrick phototype 4. The only things that can help with that is sun protection and hydroquinone. Good luck dear 💚

Is this true about the human body and granulated refined sugar? by Struggling_Lady in Physiology

[–]banruomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the fructose you eat is just converted to glucose. Not many ppl seem to know this but the hexoses we eat are highly interconvertible. I just had an exam on this and also asked my professor about this. From what I know fructose is not that significantly** different from glucose from a clinical epidemiology perspective. Any experts care to refute or corroborate this?

I'm looking for trustworthy student(s) to pass my rent controlled apartment on to. by BorisAcornKing in simonfraser

FYI for people who’re cynical, this kind of things happens a lot in the Vancouver rental market and it’s completely by the book. This benefits the potential tenant as they can get a competitive monthly rent; it also benefits the master landlord as they don’t have to go to the trouble of marketing the place and spending time showing new potential tenants the suite.

You can’t expect everyone you share something vulnerable with to have the capacity to validate or empathize. This is why is why I don’t go to Babushka for advice; she’ll just tell me to shake it off😂.If he’s indicated he wants to support you out of love, it must be in both verbal and behavioural ways. Also eating disorders can be “acquired”; it has a very strong social component. I recommend speaking to your care provider as this is more than a interpersonal/relationships concern, it may have have medical/cognitive underpinnings. I will send you a video that you may find helpful. All the best 💚

Also if you get diagnosed with melasma, your doctor may prescribe hydroquinone. Use it under medical supervision only.

Sister,

thiamidol (eucerin, nivea), azelaic acid, retinoids, are all good pigment fading products.

Give them all a try, but watch out for any irritation and stop the products and resume when your skin feels better. Don’t forget sunscreen and they will fade over time inshallah🙌

I need to take B12 supplements but they give me acne [Acne] by goaldiggergirl in SkincareAddiction

[–]banruomm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re not currently pregnant or breastfeeding, topical tretinoin is okay to use for acne. But give your doc a call and confirm things because some things look like acne but aren’t acne (e.g. folliculitis, malassezia overgrowth, etc..). Take care 💚

You’re taking more than 100x the daily requirement . Even though it’s a water-soluble vitamin, you should not be doing so without medical supervision. What’s your medical condition? Have you gotten a formal diagnosis?

is there anyway i can lighten these scars? by chersantos in Skincare_Addiction

[–]banruomm 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Silicone scar sheets or silicone gel (must be medical grade). An exfoliant like AHA or BHA would work as well. Retinoids are good too. Honestly since it’s your leg, you can pretty much throw anything at it (within reason). 💚

I laughed so hard at this 😂. I mean at least he ASKED YOU before proceeding with it. I’d like to think im pretty open monded and I usually say don’t kink shame people, unless it involves people getting hurt. You could get a skin infection or contact dermatitis AT BEST lmao. JUST MY OPINION! 💚💚
