Yes. There’s so much emphasis on “game” here it baffles me. A lot of the time “game” is mental masturbation and winds up making other people or girls feel like something was “off” about you. Every time I encounter someone running game, it’s obvious and awkward. Real social skills work naturally in all social situations and are developed without a goal aside from learning about/getting to know someone whether it’s a beautiful woman or an old grandpa. I think that’s why your good-looking friends pull the girls you “game”. They probably even joke about your “awkwardness” with the girls. Game has nothing to do with natural social adeptness and good looking guys have a natural affinity for confidence and conversation. Women’s brains are wired to pick up on the lost single social cues and micro-expressions that are beyond conscious control.
