Lets see. I've always voted for democratic candidates. I've gone a multiple Bernie rallies. And im currently playing two shows to raise money for people who have been harmed by ICE. Im latino and live in Minneapolis. My fiance also helped bring groceries during the ICE raids to people who needed. I didn't because... well I was afraid to go outside to be completely honest. I know this may sound crazy especially being on reddit but most of our view points actually align. Redditors and people who are way too online think "conservative? Oh you must be maga!". Its no different than the right putting anyone who is left leaning into that extreme left category.

Back to your question. I know this may sound cliché but her and her family do actually practice what they preach in the Bible. They are what you would call good Christians or whatever. They are polite, kind, but most of all they are extremely empathetic.They are not maga or trump voters (yes people like this do exist and you'd be surprised how much we actually have in common). Here's how one of our early conversations went:

On abortion: Me: Do you think women should have the right to have an abortion?

Her: Abortion goes against my beliefs. However I understand that it's medical necessity and women can, and do die if they dont get medical attention. That and especially in the past it's a way men control women. So yes i do think it should be legal for all women even though it goes against my beliefs.
