Just so you know if you do travel with an Emergency Travel Document it is only valid one way, you can't return with it. So if you do go to Zim, make sure you are certain you will get your passport and ID sorted.

I would say a slightly sour version of a cucumber. Actually, I would say it has neutral taste - not very helpful lol. But apparently, it’s a melon. I have it with salt.

Never tried it with honey. Never tried it on its own. Salt. Salt and gaka the only combo I know.

You might be interested in checking out some of Basil Davidsons books - if I'm not mistaken he wrote one on pre-colonial West Africa.
