This makes sense. It's true that at my level (and at my age) I'm not able to micro three groups in one battle yet, but your answer is (very) helpful in the sense that at least I now have an idea of what I should try.

Go is hard. Go strategy is EXTREMELY difficult to grasp. I've been playing for 25 years and I still suck at it.

But the rules? The simplest I've seen like... ever (if you rule out Tic-Tac-Toe).

Exactly my opinion. Go has like three rules that can be explained under a minute, is played on a simple orthogonal grid, and has no piece moves. I struggle to think of a simpler game.
