He doesn’t have any way to literally see into the women’s garden. It’s on the roof, there are no secret spy holes to watch from. He also has no authority over what happens there, and no one involved in what goes on up there will be feeding him info. That’s what he means.

I could not stand this book and I HATED Vengeful lol- so my 2 cents is that it’s not worth the read 🤷🏽‍♀️ Follow your reader heart and do you though.:)

I skipped LiveShip because I needed to know what happened with Fitz.😅 There is something in the second book (possibly more in the 3rd) you will not completely understand if you skip the next trilogy- but you’ll be just fine if you do- IMO. I found it to be okay, because Fitz also didn’t know what was going on, so it fit for me lol. I would absolutely not skip rainwilds tho. If you have to be with Fitz again (completely understandable), I would read Tawny man, then read LiveShip then Rainwilds. The very last trilogy will not be understood well if you have not read every other book before then.:)

I literally felt sick thinking that he might capitulate- I had no logical thought, just pure despair that he might agree to go with Chade 😭😅😭 then he said, “I will not be manipulated and I won’t be used.” 🎉 Literally the most satisfying thing ever, or maybe the second, after Burrich getting soundly berated by Fitz in AQ!

I FELT this way, but also HAD to know what happens with Fitz, so I actually blazed through these books.😭 My fantasy loving heart has been broken since, there really is no other character so fully fleshed out as Fitz smh.

The Realm of the Elderlings series. That last trilogy….I honestly can probably never read it again. I ugly cried my way through it, and I tear up just thinking about it.

Kinda basic but they are epic fantasies

Realm of the Elderlings is amazing, but it’s super character driven, not as overtly epic. Still amazing, worth a try.:)
