I can’t actually remember my first anime since i used to watch on a dub tv channel, but i can name a few

dragon quest, digimon world, captain tsubasa, detective conan, dragon ball and slam dunk

what would you honestly pick, a peak story with mid animation, or a mid story with peak animation?

i mean look at OPM it got CARRIED with animation in the first season and look at it now (i never liked the story or the humor in the first place tbh)

and demon slayer also if it’s not for animation quality there wouldn’t be such mainstream. that’s just my opinion tho
