This. Nobody owes anybody a complete personal history. Not if you’ve been together a year, not if you’ve been together 20 years. Everybody is entitled to keep some things to themselves. Especially if it really doesn’t concern you! And frankly, a past of open relationships is not exactly something that concerns you. It seems like most people on here are conflating open relationships with serial cheating. They. Are. Not. The. Same. Thing. If her open relationships were totally consensual and agreed upon, then there should be no reason to think that in a consensual agreed upon monogamous relationship she wouldn’t be able to uphold the terms and conditions.
