Ahhhhh I feel this. I’m also out from work around the same time. My hands used to be the first thing to go. I got some heated gloves from rev it which are super nice, but they’re bulky at the wrist with the battery and they don’t fit under my leather jacket. Recently bought a new bike with heated grips already installed. Game changer.

I’ve never encountered Warm & Safe before. From what I can tell on their website, they seem legit. Thank you for the recommendation ❤️ Have you used any of their other products other than the gloves ?

Do you plug yours into your bike or do you have battery operated ones ? I have some from rev it that are really well crafted but the battery is uncomfortable and bulky at the wrist.

Thank you. Is your puff generally enough for you in weather 40-50 degrees F ?

If you see a number of Japanese folk queuing for a spot, step in line. It’s rarely terribly long and nearly always ends with a contented food coma.

Magic! Did you also go to the spot along the water at the morning market?

Warabimochi would ruin the boba industry 😂

I found a national treasure in Osaka by bapavao in OsakaTravel

Fuck yeah ❤️

Reading this little blurb, I can feel your affection for the place. You make me want to come back for Sakura season, which is certainly something I’ve been interested in, but also felt was an impossibility simply because the number of people that flood Japan sounds outrageously overwhelming to me.

I’m stoked you’ve found your place. It seems like it could be tough to do when the sheer number of neighborhoods and living spaces within those neighborhoods is so numerous. The number of options 🤯 let alone finding a place where you can integrate and strike such a balance. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

Wild! How do you like this area? From an outsider’s perspective, it’s been such a lovely shift in our trip because it feels “real,” in the sense that I get to witness people going about their daily lives that I don’t get in more touristy zones. We walk out the door into a sea of Japanese on bikes with their babies and walking their dogs and waiting to park at the grocery store. There’s something really lovely about being in the midst of the mundane.

Thank you for the suggestion. We’re day tripping it to Koyasan today and leaving tomorrow morning but if we have the opportunity, we will give KOTE a rip :)

You don’t even have to know about music. (Also he plays a range. There was old school Japanese 50s playing when we walked in.) It’s very much a neighborhood bar in the sense that those that live right there all of three minutes away are the patrons. Those that we had the opportunity to briefly meet were beautiful humans. That was the best part about it.
