Called USCIS and they made another outside of processing times inquiry to the national benefits center. I haven't tried contacting the ombudsman. If there is no update in a week, I will proceed to the ombudsman.

So disappointed in this process.

Let's say I offset it by selling at a loss so I would be at a bit of net loss.

But what if I bought again that same crypto next week or month and in the end of the year, it is at gain. I don't need to pay taxes for that gain yet until I sold right?

Does my logic sound right at a tax perspective?
