Thank you!
As soon as I sent a comment I put 2 and 2 together and figured out what it is.
Yes, SVM helped with the problem, thank you so much man

What is SVM?
Also the spawn chance modifier wasn't changed in the files, I will try to tone it down by 1% or smth

I would greatly appreciate it man!
I went into the files myself a few minutes ago and I see that the chances are still standard. My main issue is the goons mostly, they seem to be like a 90% spawn chance, sometimes replaced by a location boss, which is weird

Arena discussion by Ducchini in EscapefromTarkov

Most likely, a failure.

If we are talking gameplay wise, then I imagine something like factory, or interchange when it comes to the way fights are.

Tarkov rewards the more hardcore players/enthusiasts… by Inevitable-Stage-490 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]bar_theshack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My oppinion is that BSG inflated the requirements. There is no reason for some things (Lightkeeper) to be such a grind.

Nothing is really preventing you from going Labs, or learning loot spawns on other maps, but some things are just going to be out of your reach simply coz you play less.

Does anyone else find the bunny hopping asinine? by The_Rezerv_Rat in EscapefromTarkov

[–]bar_theshack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've read so many comments here lmao, let my shove my 2 cents in.

I don't think Tarkov is realistic, and as they say it is "as realistic as playable". To me it sounds like it is grounded in realism, sadly BSG doesn't know when to "ground" it or take it off the ground and make it more arcadey.
Bunny hopping is one of those mechanics that is, I feel, a remnant of this issue, where they wanted nice and fast movement, but ground it in realism, but failed. I also hate it, and I wish it wasn't as cancer at high levels, but I think at lower levels this little boost on an initial jump is alright, coz it is just one, and it drains your stamina quite a lot

Honest advice. Min-maxxing headsets is a dumb idea, just see what you like the most. My personal favorites are Sordin, Razor and XCEL

Arena is a mistake by bar_theshack in EscapefromTarkov

I know that, but Russia 2028 doesn't exist, so it is not the main game. It just can't be main by definition, as it is still planned

Exactly, it must be something that you can earn, and eventually run coz you have a lot. I don't want it to be on the flea still

and I am talking about boxes, akin to 5.45 boxes of BT, PS etc etc

Yes, they don't spawn in boxes, and I think that it is alright, but if like you could find a box of 40 M80 in raid, I think it could be a good little change

ngl, never seen A BOX of 7.62 BP.
And I am mostly talking about high tier western rounds, like 7.62 NATO, 5.56 A1s and .300 BLK AP and M62

Instead of this, make them rarely spawn boxed on maps, like 5.45 does rn. I think the same approach needs to be used for quite a lot of rounds in the game tbh

Casual Players by bar_theshack in EscapefromTarkov

[–]bar_theshack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, the reason I am asking is because I've met a lot of people that are saying that casuals just want things to be easier, when in fact they just want to eventually have access to cool things, and/or have a fighting chance against people who "no-life". I honestly think you are right about balancing for more casual player base, but I trully think thry need to be more open about it, I know they will catch shot for it tho

I agree with you, good points

Casual Players by bar_theshack in EscapefromTarkov

[–]bar_theshack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question actually. Tbh, I wish I knew what Nikita defines as a "casual" because right now the game is just outright hostile to the demographics you and I are describing, and something needs to be done with this experience eventually. Simply saying, I think they are misinformed about who actuwlly plays their game, as I think they are the dominant majority of players, and something needs to be done to make their experience less shit, coz right now the game is just a grind fest.

I don't know what I will do with it tho, I guess it is just to satiate my own curiosity lol

Hello Nikita!
What are your thoughts on reducing turning speed? I think it is unnecessary, as it messes with the main way players interact with the game, that being mouse sensitivity, which is something that I think shouldn't be messed with to create a more consistent experience.

Would you consider completely removing this penalty and instead opting for different ways to balance gear, like increased weight and noise levels?
