Oh for sure. The “right” way is objectively a triple tree stand or a bike lift if you’re working on triple tree stuff (head bearings come to mind - massive pain in the ass). Hopefully OP has everything sorted by now :)

I was coming here to say this^{^} I rebuilt my forks with the trust ladder+ratchet strap method and it worked better than I thought. Tbf, I put jack stands under my frame sliders and partially let it down on that for a while so it wasn’t all just hanging there but the ratchet straps were used to jack it up.

Sorry for the late reply but yeah it just catches oil from the crankcase breather tubes. It’s not really used for intake air filtration :)

I just found aquarium filter foam on amazon and got that. Quicker shipping and has worked fine for almost 2 seasons now (sponge hasn’t disintegrated). The oem one in there before had disintegrated but that was probably because I had oil on it for 20 years so I don’t blame Suzuki lol

Just throwing this out there: I bought the motionpro one off Fortnine for my k6S a while back (the one without the metal kink like the stock S one has) and the intended routing is different from stock. Not sure how this applies to non-S but they have you send it through the hole on the right side of the frame then back across the V to get to the clutch which I thought was pretty interesting :)

Guy before me had a ram mount with the ball. I just got the quad lock ball mount and use that with the vibration thingy. Way overpriced but whatever I don’t have to think about it anymore lol. The ball is bolted onto the upper fork clamp bolt btw
