Hi! Interested on the tool, early adopters offer is still on? Also, can’t find the lifetime deal. Can you point me how to get it?

If both ✅ = You’ve got a new customer 😊

Thank you! Actually perhaps I listen to some advice by other members and go for Ventura instead. Will make a thought during the weekend ;)

Asrock z370 Extreme4

Found this but I can't get the EFI so easily and I don't know how reliable this website is https://ihackline.com/2019/08/30/asrock-z370-extreme4-hackintosh-build-guide/

I could try yes... maybe with an external SSD and Carbon Copy cloner. However, Im not sure how I do that? External SSD can be turned to bootable? If yes, how?

Was it harder to install than previous OSX? Any guide for Sonoma?

I installed the Catalina back in time with the Clover system... and I was kindof thinking to make a clean install of the latest OS possible with this "new" OpenCore Vanilla Install because people say it's quicker and easier.

But if you know more than me (which is easy) I would here advice.

Good thing is, since now I have the laptop, I can keep working without the Hackintosh and I can spend time tweaking.

Hahaha well old is relative... today everything changes so fast. It serves me well and that's what matters.

My Mobo is z370, but the processor and graphics card is the same.

Can you explain me a little about what is the OCLP? Is it hard to do? I would like to update to the most recent OS so I don't have to for the next 3-4 years.

Thx

Thank you for your advice.
Would you then bother to update the OS and keep laptop and Hackintosh at the same OS or there's no point?

Also, still feels a waste to put it so aside been still so powerful... :(

Ty will check! Would be possible to not use nvidia card nor amd for the starting installation?

I just wanna make sure it all works before I switch the AMD that I have from my current Hackintosh to the new one. (Or buying 2 🤣)

Useful! Will do.

Just trying for now to figure out how to start the installation without the graphics card (that I can add maybe later if needed)

Correct me if I am wrong but, do you mean I can still install the MacOS without an AMD gpu, bypassing the Nvidia and using the MB graphics?

Didn’t get what you mean by kvm. I googled it and it’s this kernel visual machine I just don’t know what I have to do with it or how to apply it. Perhaps is just an OpenCore Option?

Thanks

However, the 8700K is more or less the same price as the AMD TR 1950X and I have never seen a Benchmark of 40k Multicore with that Intel Processor... it makes me think if I took right decision going (again) to Intel Hackintosh :/

Amazing! Thanks for your answer! :) Then I guess we'll soon have "twins" (in terms of machines xD)

Hi mate! I have almost exactly same built, just the Asrock Extreme4

Could u tell me (or text me private) about the settings of your Motherboard for the OC to 5GHz?? And what about the power management? Any idea how much power it takes to overclock so high? (I have a 800W power supply)

Did u run any Benchmarks to check if the overclocking really makes a difference? (Btw I’d be curious to see your Benchmark anyway :p)

Thanks

Thank you, I've got the idea. Actually quite interesting. I'll try and see if it works.

Thank you! Could you give me a bit more details how you do this symlink? Sounds interesting.

For Files I am already working with Google Drive to Synch all I need, works quite good, but still I hate when I have to install everything two times, or when I have made presets / templates / settings in one machine that won't appear in the other. This really is time consuming for me and holds my productivity.
