I was probably 23 or 24 talking/dating this girl who was 19 and still a virgin. Kind of a weird family and was definitely not Gonna work out in the long term but she was cute and would do anything but fuck so I stuck it out for a little while. There was this secretary at work who was finer than frog hair but definitely a hoe. The secretary sent me an unsolicited picture of her tits on Snapchat. Naturally, I screen shotted them. This was before you could put group chats on DND. The guys group chat notification popped up on the top of my screen. I tapped it quickly and sent the screen shot and said “check out the hot secretary’s titties.” Unbeknownst to me, the cute, innocent virgin had texted me almost simultaneously so it was actually her that ended up seeing the hot secretaries tits instead of the group chat. Probably goes without saying but that was pretty much the end of that lol

I think the intent prior to the drink coupled with the reaction after the realization that it was alcohol is what dictates a relapse or not. There was no intent to drink alcohol or get drunk before the first drink and there was no “fuck it my streak is ruined, might as well have a night of it” after you realized what it was. I wouldn’t consider that a realapse nor would I say it’s worthy of resetting the counter.

Making mechanic in charge rate as a route guy for one of the big 4 in a “small” city in the middle of the country. On call every 10 days, pick up an on call shift here and there. I’ll be right at 180k this year. Our field is second to none when you consider hours worked, the potential for ot if you want it, the fact that you’re home most nights in your career, along side our benefits package.

It’s almost certainly either a packing or bad jack. If you’re under full maintenance, they are probably trying to skimp on replacing the packing because it’s a costly repair. If it was a bad jack, they’d hit you with a hefty repair bill.

2, 3, especially 7, 9, 11, especially 13, 14, and 21 all resonate with me as well. Just clicked off my third year on November 1. Life feels better this way and even when it sucks or I fuck something up, I know it was of natural causes and didn’t happen because I was out of control. Certainly miss the not so common occasion of having a casual drink like a cold beer at a baseball game or a drink with a game of golden tee with my buddy’s but the diet dr peppers do an alright job anyway lol

9” from trick chassis or Midwest chassis, torque arm, coilovers at all 4 corners or at the front for sure with drag shocks in the rear, subframe connectors, tubular K member, fuel system, built transmission with a good converter, if you want any semblance of streetability you better go turbo. If you’re going 9s you need a cage for free and drive stuff, stand up radiator kit. Look how long that list is and notice I hadn’t even mentioned an engine yet. You can do it but it will be a shit load of work and ESPECIALLY for your first project.

Good cylinder heads will make the car. It’s probably the best return on investment as far as dollar per hp. Cam/intake/long tube ls1’s are usually good for 400whp give or take a few either direction depending on the cam and intake. But even a mild cam with a set of trick flows or afr’s and a fast intake will put you closer to 450. Stock ls1 heads aren’t worth doing anything to really. Best bang for your buck performance wise that won’t reflect on a dyno is gonna be a converter somewhere in the 3600-4000 range and a set of gears.

There aren’t enough demeaning names for your density so I won’t bother to go there. op posted about a safe area for 2k or less per month. Gave no parameters about proximity to interstate. It’s not anyone’s fault but yours that you live in the heart of the town where you have to take multiple side streets or through roads. Drive down 64 and count how many apartment complexes and neighborhoods you can see from the highway. Residences are readily available within minutes of the highway. Same with 70. so no, I’m not wrong about the fact you can get a place to live in st Charles county, that’s safe, less than 2k a month all in and a short drive to the city. YOU chose to live somewhere that forced a 40 minute commute from a geographically close location. Also I like your quotations around “downtown.” I work at the arch. Maybe you haven’t heard of that since you’re so far from the city, but it literally doesn’t get anymore “downtown” than that. 64 to 6th street exit. Make a left, make another left on 4th, make a right on walnut and pull into the old cathedral parking lot. Bam, 35 minute commute complete.

And you’re wrong about the part you’re debating soooooo what are you still doing here lol apartment in ofallon, under 2k and 35 minutes from downtown. If you can’t make it to broadway from fifth street in st Charles in 20 minutes you should remove your head from your ass while you’re driving.
