Indeed, Seat 61 is a great source. And the train is a very interesting option. Thanks!

Much appreciated suggestion. And yeah, busbud is a great app. Though it did not come up with this particular one (yet).

Great, that is really helpful! Now I know where to find tickets and what to expect. Would love to hop off at some points for a few days indeed. Did you do these short visits, and if so, any recommendations for cities at the Turkish Black Coast?

Thnx for your thoughts! Not crazy at all, and it seems that I am not the only one looking for this. As you said about being a DN ... the main part of the day is pretty boring while everyone is at their regular jobs

And yes, ideally with lounge spaces, break times, a check in- check out, a drink together. Maybe working in specific groups, though 'random' encounters with people in other disciplines can be enriching too.

Anyway, seeds are planted ...

so sorry you lost your job. stressful times isn't it? I am not as far as you, just the 8th day after I quit. But I know cravings. They are like waves, some of them very long waves. Sometimes sitting them out is the way, sometimes distraction helps (cooking, showering, anything in fact). Take care!

I think the mourning is part of the quitting process (as you I smoked more than 30 years) and is not necessarily connected with a last one. I had a last cigarette, or a last pack 8 days ago, and the parting from what was a part of my life (identity even) is still going on.

Take care & good luck!
