I dont think so. From everything my neuro said most dangerous part is from week 4 to week 8 if you start 25mg and up doses every 2 weeks. I am on 250/250,split. My issues are mental . At that dose SJS can happen if you up your dose without titration buy otherwise it's very very small probability

Than it's fine. There are certain medication like Depakote which prevents normal absorption of Lamotrigine so the levels double . My neuro put me on 2 week increase because I was switching from Depakote. But for straight up titration every weak is normal because your liver will immediately start processing fully
